London, 5 November 2026: Joybuy, the new online shopping destination, is helping gamers get ready for the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on 19 November, with a range of gaming consoles, accessories and technology to help players prepare for one of the biggest gaming releases of the year.

After years of anticipation, gamers will finally be heading back to Vice City. But before hitting the streets of Leonida, there’s a little preparation to be done. From making sure you’ve got the right console to freeing up storage space, upgrading your audio and getting your gaming setup just right, Joybuy has put together five ways to get ready for launch day.

Five ways to get ready for GTA VI game launch day:

1. Secure your ticket to Vice City. No getaway vehicle required.

GTA VI introduces players to Jason and Lucia, whose lives take a dangerous turn against the sun-soaked backdrop of Leonida. However, the first mission is to make sure you’ve got the right console. Launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, GTA VI gives gamers the perfect excuse to upgrade their hardware.

Whether you’re entering the PlayStation universe for the first time or looking to refresh an existing setup, Joybuy’s Gaming Store and official PlayStation Store have plenty of options.

2. Build your own gaming den.

Whether it’s a bigger screen, a more immersive display or an entirely new way to play, Joybuy’s Gaming Store has plenty of ways to upgrade before launch. For gamers looking to go beyond the traditional living-room television, Joybuy has some particularly interesting technology to explore.

Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Slim + XREAL One Pro M AR Glasses Gaming Bundle: Why settle for an ordinary gaming screen when you can take your setup to another dimension? This Joybuy-exclusive special offer pairs a PS5 Digital Edition Slim with XREAL One Pro M AR glasses, designed to deliver a private, big-screen viewing experience. An exciting option for gamers looking to enjoy console gaming in a more personal and immersive way.

XGIMI Elfin Flip Portable Projector: Bring the bright lights of Vice City into your living room with this compact, portable 1080p projector. Featuring automatic focus, a foldable design and Harman Kardon audio, it’s a way to bring games, films and entertainment to the big screen without needing a permanent home cinema setup.

For those who prefer a more traditional display, Joybuy also offers a range of gaming monitors. And Joybuy also has a great rang of gaming chairs.

3. Make room for a little more.

Nobody wants to have to delete 37 games to free up storage. Before heading to Vice City, players should check how much free space is available on their console. Joybuy offers a range of storage products from brands including Western Digital, Kingston and SanDisk, helping gamers manage their growing game libraries. Just remember to check compatibility before upgrading.

Lexar ES4 Portable SSD 1TB: With 1TB of storage and read speeds of up to 1,050MB/s, this compact external SSD is ideal for moving older games off your console to free up valuable internal storage for GTA VI. Compatible with supported PS5 and PS4 external storage functions, it also features a lightweight, portable design for gamers with growing digital collections.

4. Turn up the volume. Vice City is calling.

From cruising along the waterfront to discovering the next unforgettable radio station, music has always been part of GTA’s DNA. And with new music already revealed for GTA VI, there’s plenty for fans to get excited about. Joybuy’s range of gaming headsets offers plenty of options for enjoying everything from in-game dialogue to the next late-night driving playlist.

5. Unlock the JoyPlus bonus level.

No cheat codes needed here. Joybuy’s membership programme, JoyPlus, offers an extra way for customers to save on their gaming essentials and everyday shopping. For an introductory price of £3.99 per month or £19.99 per year, members enjoy unlimited free delivery on eligible orders and earn Joybuy Points when they shop.

Customers earn one point for every eligible pound spent, with 100 points worth £1 to spend on Joybuy. Points can be redeemed against up to 50% of an eligible order’s total. Students can also unlock a reduced rate of £2.99 per month or £14.99 per year, subject to verification.

Game over? Not quite. There are more deals to discover.

Customers can discover Lightning Offers, featuring limited-time deals across selected products and brands, alongside Joybuy’s Mix and Match promotions, which offer additional savings when purchasing eligible products together. Joybuy’s monthly shopping event, Joy Days, also brings customers special offers across leading brands and popular product categories.
